PolyandryThis is the act of getting married to many male spouses simultaneously. This practice is rarer in the African tribes. This practice is getting rarer and might be found in certain African tribes. This practice makes women more vulnerable to HIV because of the sexual exchange with male spouses without protection. It has been demonstrated that the infection rate of man to woman is faster and as a result, is eight times higher than the transmission from a woman to a man. Men are more infected than women by the HIV and have tendencies to have many sexual partners. Women don’t wear condom to protect themselves even though it exists one made especially for them. As a result, they must count on their partners, their competence and attitude to convince them to wear a condom. |
