Otieno Akinyi Janepher

Biography
Otieno has a B.A in Education and a Masters Degree in Arts. She has taught for three years at Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya, before moving to Edmonton in 1999. In 1999, Otieno obtained a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Alberta. During her studies, Otieno worked not only for the community but also in hospitals. She is interested in international health, particularly in the development objectives as defined by the World Health Organization in 2000.
Otieno speaks both French and English and hopes that her experience, her abilities and her qualifications will be valuable to the Madeleine Sanam Foundation.
